Come join us for an exciting new tradition! On November 6, 2010, the Kingstowne Striders and Metro Run & Walk are hosting the 1st Annual Jack T. Farrar, Jr. “Fill the Shoes for PanCAN” 5K.
This memorial race was created in honor of Jack T. Farrar, Jr., a long-time resident of Hayfield Farm, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer in November 2005.
All proceeds from the race will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
The mission of the race is to raise funds and awareness to serve all persons living with and fighting pancreatic cancer in every way possible.
This race is dedicated to research that will one day find a cause and a cure for this disease.

Sponsorship (and Donations)
Calling all sponsors! An annual regional signature race needs robust runner participation AND financial support from businesses and citizens to be successful and to return meaningful funds to our benefiting organizations. We have recognized sponsorship options from several hundred dollars to many thousands, and we certainly welcome more modest amounts, too. If you can donate needed products and services to the effort, we can recognize the value of this in-kind support.
Please check out oursponsor letter and options.
