On November 5, 2011, the Kingstowne Striders  are hosting the 2nd Annual Jack T. Farrar, Jr. “Fill the Shoes” 5K.
This memorial race was created in honor of Jack T. Farrar, Jr., a long-time resident of Hayfield Farm, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer in November 2005.
All net proceeds from the race will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
The mission of the race is to raise funds and awareness to serve all persons living with and fighting pancreatic cancer in every way possible.
This race is dedicated to research that will one day find a cause and a cure for this disease.

Thank you to all the runners and volunteers who made this years race a wonderfull success

Calling all sponsors!  An annual regional signature race needs robust runner participation AND financial support from businesses and citizens to be successful and to return meaningful funds to our benefitting organizations.  We have recognized sponsorship options from several hundred dollars to many thousands, and we certainly welcome more modest amounts, too.  If you can donate needed products and services to the effort, we can recognize the value of this in-kind support.
